Making our City and our neighbourhoods even better places to live

Economic Growth
Judy promotes sustainable economic growth, responsible budgets and job creation. She advocates infrastructure renewal, smart development, and retaining a skilled and creative workforce.

Dedicated to London’s downtown revitalization and to strengthening its neighbouring communities, Judy championed the Downtown Master Plan and the SoHo Community Improvement Plan.

Environment
Expressing a lifelong passion for natural heritage within our urban environment, Judy plants trees with ReForest London, protects our woodlands, as well as acts for us on the Upper Thames Conservation Authority. During her time in office, two new community gardens were established in the ward and three urban parks are being upgraded to serve our growing neighbourhoods.

Judy advocates a better and smarter transit system for all Londoners that will provide more accessible and green transportation.

Community
Judy brings her experience and inclusive style to support communities in the ward such as FANA, PANA and the Riverforks. She participates in the key public meetings, many casual neighbourhood gatherings, as well as hosts regular community forums and coffee mornings.

Judy has shown she is committed to solving tough local issues such as affordable housing, crime, homelessness and access to social services.

Culture and Heritage
Judy empowers neighbourhoods to restore and adapt historic buildings and preserve natural heritage. She was actively involved in the formation of the West Woodfield Heritage District (now merged with the original Woodfield District) and continues to support London’s heritage initiatives.

As an original member of the Creative Cities Task Force, an artist and trained architect, Judy has championed the culture and talent of London including the city’s urban design programs.
